illusion knitting sample
Illusion Knitting !
this is such a fun style of knitting - the *picture* appears from a different view than from above!!
Something *new* for those who are tired of doing plain, ordinary knit and purls.
Though you still do knit/purl, the *mystery* of the design puts a different slant on knitting it [pun intended!] ~
This is one I recently finished knitting to display for the monthly knit-along group which I belong to ~
The pattern is called *Vintage Flowers* -
I liked it because it immediately made me think of my grandmother's afghan, the black background and the colorful flowers scattered upon it.
View 1: from above - how we usually look at things - this is what you see:
View 2: Now, if you bring the dish-cloth to your eye level, look what you see:
Coooool, eh?!
